My name is Lindsey McPherson and the 2018-19 school year marks the beginning of my 16th year in education. The daughter of a police officer and a lawyer, I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I attended college at Trinity University in San Antonio, and taught English in Texas for 7 years. My husband Geoff and I moved to Kentucky in 2010. We own a small family farm in Casey County where we raise sheep, cows, pigs, poultry, and two adorable humans, Eli and Addie.
I have a Master of Art in Teaching degree, an Educational Specialist degree, and I earned my National Board Certification in 2007. I love learning, I love reading, I love writing, and I love helping students explore their gifts, talents, and passions. For the past two years I worked as the College and Career Readiness Counselor here, and I am still very passionate about helping students determine the path they will take in life. I am thrilled to be back in the classroom teaching English again this year. |
